My name is Pierre and I have been working with reptiles for over 10 years. I spent 5 years in a zoological park, an experience which allowed me to acquire a solid foundation in the maintenance, reproduction, care and behavioral observation of a large number of species.
Today, I am the manager and partner of Le9Reptiles SAS, a breeding facility I created with a simple idea: to offer reptiles raised with complete respect for their needs, using an ethical and transparent approach. I specialize in New Caledonian geckos, which I have been breeding for many years, and I am also passionate about snakes, to which I dedicate a significant portion of my time.
I am trained as an animal caretaker, former head animal keeper, qualified veterinary assistant, certified professional, and departmental expert on the captive wildlife commission. I also obtained individual certification for the Shinisaurus crocodilurus, a rare and fascinating species.
Passionate about animals, and especially reptiles, since my earliest childhood, I have always been fascinated by their diversity, their behavior, and their incredible ability to adapt. These animals possess true "superpowers" that never cease to amaze me.
This passion naturally led me to pursue further training in biology, animal behavior, and animal welfare. I am now a certified professional, guaranteeing rigor and compliance with French regulations.
A few years ago, I created the Zanndoli reptile sanctuary to meet a growing demand for care. Today, this facility is reaching its limits, particularly in its ability to provide care for species requiring a certificate of competence. This situation has led me to adapt my approach and develop a new, complementary project.
So, Pierre and I decided to set up a reptile breeding operation that reflects our values, with an ethical, responsible, and animal welfare-conscious approach, while sharing our knowledge and passion. The species we breed are primarily rare or collector's items, raised in conditions tailored to their biological and behavioral needs.
In parallel, I develop training courses dedicated to reptiles, aimed at enthusiasts of all levels, from beginners to experienced keepers. The goal is to transmit scientific, practical, and accessible knowledge in order to promote ethical and responsible terrarium keeping.
